CXCL16
Overview
CXCL16 (C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 16) is a hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cell chemokine that recruits CXCR6-expressing NKT cells. In the context of cholangiocarcinoma and bile acid biology, secondary bile acid DCA reduces CXCL16 expression, impairing NKT-cell-mediated immune surveillance.
