IL7R
Overview
IL7R (Interleukin 7 Receptor) encodes the alpha chain of the IL-7 receptor, which signals through JAK1/JAK3 and STAT5 to promote lymphocyte survival and proliferation. In esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), focal amplification of IL7R activates JAK-STAT3 signaling, contributing to the oncogenic STAT3 activation observed in this cancer type.
