KRT19

Overview

KRT19 (Keratin 19) encodes a type I intermediate filament protein expressed in epithelial cells and serving as a stem/progenitor cell marker. In HCC, KRT19 functions as both a GWAS susceptibility locus and a component of a prognostic gene expression score.
