NXF1
Overview
NXF1 (Nuclear RNA Export Factor 1) encodes the major mRNA export receptor in metazoans, mediating bulk poly(A)+ mRNA transport from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In cancer, NXF1 has been identified as a recurrently mutated driver in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), belonging to a broader class of RNA processing and export genes disrupted in that disease.
