PAK3

Overview

PAK3 (p21-activated kinase 3) is a serine/threonine kinase in the PAK family that mediates signaling downstream of Rac and Cdc42 GTPases. It is involved in cytoskeletal organization, cell proliferation, and survival. In cancer genomics, PAK3 has been identified as a loss-of-function burden tumour suppressor candidate in desmoplastic melanoma.
