PDCD6

Overview

PDCD6 (Programmed Cell Death 6; also ALG-2) encodes a calcium-binding protein of the penta-EF-hand family involved in apoptotic signaling. In cancer genomics, it has been identified as a structural rearrangement partner near the TERT promoter in chromophobe renal cell carcinoma.
