TET3

Overview

TET3 (Tet Methylcytosine Dioxygenase 3) is a DNA demethylation enzyme that converts 5-methylcytosine to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine. Somatic mutations with recurrent hotspots in TET3 were identified in colorectal cancer, representing one of the first reports of TET family mutations in CRC.
