GeoMx Whole Transcriptome Atlas (WTA)
Overview
NanoString GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler with Whole Transcriptome Atlas (WTA) is a spatial transcriptomics platform that enables region-of-interest (ROI) level whole-transcriptome profiling on FFPE tissue sections using UV-cleavable oligonucleotide probes PMID:39386723.
Used by
- PMID:39386723 — GeoMx WTA was applied to 35 fallopian tube specimens (HGSOC precursors: normal FTE, SCOUT, STIC, invasive HGSOC) with >600 ROIs profiled; identified progressive transcriptomic changes from FTE through STIC to invasive HGSOC, including upregulation of immune checkpoint ligands (PVR, NECTIN2) and downregulation of NK cell activating ligands PMID:39386723.
Notes
- Combined with CyCIF 31-plex immunofluorescence to provide complementary spatial protein and RNA profiling of HGSOC precursor lesions PMID:39386723.
- Corpus-grown slug; not present in canonical ontology.
